Detective Denny Warren Den Hartog has over 28 years of law enforcement experience. He served 8 years in the United States Coast Guard, three of which as a Federal Law Enforcement member and Emergency Medical Technician. Warren Worked a year with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections working at Racine Correctional Institution as a housing and tower officer. Warren has been with Kenosha Police for 25 years. He began as a parol officer, thlenbecame a School Resource Officer within the Kenosha Unified School District. Warren created curriculum on bullying and harassment and other student friendly courses for middle school students. Warren served asa Crime Prevention Officer revitalizing the “Neighborhood Watch Program” in Kenosha and creating “Realtor Watch” a real estate agents safety program recognized nationally by the National Crime Prevention Council (McGruff) in 2005. In 2006, Warren was promoted to detective, a position he currently serves. Warren is a Sensitive Crimes Detective investigating sex crimes, crimes against children, child deaths and special victims. Warren is the lead detective for Prostitution/Human Trafficking within the department. He has created a database of escorts and pimps operating in the Kenosha area. Warren works with the Racine County Human Trafficking Task Force as an interviewer and has been a part of Operation Cross Country for several years. He has an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice and is an Adjunct Instructor at Gateway Technical College.
