Rebecca Rodriguez has been a registered nurse since 2005, and a Forensic Nurse since 2009. She began the coordinator of the Forensic Nursing program in 2014. She obtained her certification as a Sexual Assault Nurse examiner for adults/adolescents in 2014. She has cared for over 650 patients in her career that have been affected by sexual violence. She is an active member of Journey Church in Kenosha, and on the education steering committee for JRNY hope since 2014. She is the chair of the Kenosha CCR (Coordinated Community Response Team), past co-chair for the SART (Sexual Assault Response Team), and a member of the Kenosha Coalition against Human trafficking team. She is a member of the International Association of Forensic Nursing, and the Wisconsin chapter of Forensic nursing. She is a student studying to obtain her family nurse practitioner degree, and has a goal of creating a clinic where victims of human trafficking can obtain holistic care for their physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. She is married, and a mother of six children. In her spare time she loves being the Journey Youth Camp nurse
